Delta Airlines

After years of being out of the airline industry, I've decided to enter it again. I started my 5 weeks of training on Oct. 12th, and this week just finished my 2 additional weeks of OTJ training, and now an official employee of Delta Airlines. Even though this industry is not about making a good income, I really decided that I really missed all the benefits. We really have missed the airline benefits since we moved to Utah and left the airline industry after a combined 17 years of working at America West Airlines when we lived in Arizona. For that, we are excited, to be able to take the kids all around the world, and fly to visit family and friends whenever we want to... For that, we are excited.
Hope to see you all soon!

girl ask boy dance...

Chad was invited to a girl's choice dance last night by his friend, Kayla, who goes to Jordan High School, and they had so much fun. I can't believe he's a senior in high school and going to graduate this year. He's such a great kid and I just love him so much.

The girls had alot of fun this year. Taylor was invited to a few different Halloween parties and dressed up as a witch for those. But on Halloween night, she was a hobo and Maddie was a cute little puppy...

Happy 7th Birthday my little Maddie.....

Madison had her birthday party yesterday and she wanted to go swimming like her big sister did for her birthday. So she decided to have her party at the Rec Center where the kids could all swim and go down waterslides. They had so much fun, and I just love seeing my baby have so many good friends she enjoys being around, and seeing her grow up into a beautiful being..... I just love her to pieces.

I love love love my kids....

I love love love my kids. They are all so sweet and adorable... I love them all and can't get enough of them. Just sayin'..........

Last Day of School...

Today was Taylor & Madison's last day of school. We have alot of fun things planned for the summer so we are so excited. Chad's last day was June 4th, so he's had a month head start. I remember when I was a kid, on the last day of school it ws so cool to be able to say I was in the grade for the next school year. So Maddie is very excited to say she's in 1st grade now, and Taylor in 5th grade, and of course Chad a senior in high school (now that's INDEPENDENCE!) I love my kids, they're so fun and cute....

My new favorite thing...

OK ---- This is my new favorite thing.... I admit, I don't cook dinner nearly as much as I should. My husband is always wanting me to cook more, and sometimes with our crazy life, it's hard having something ready for dinner every night. So a girlfriend that lives in my neighborhood that works full time told me about this place. It used to be called 'My Girlfriend's Kitchen', part of a franchise. Now the franchise is no more, so they're independent, located in South Jordan. They have brunch selections, easy oven meals, crockpot meals, stovetop meals, grilled entrees, kids meals, deserts, sides, soups. They prepare them at their store and you just take them home and put them in your freezer, put them in the fridge a day or two before you want to use them, and put them in the oven (or grill or stovetop or crockpot depending on the meal). It's very simple, you just go online to the link I have listed below. You place your order (they have new meals every month), you either pick them up from their store on the date selected online, or schedule for them to deliver them to you. So easy, very yummy dinner selections and inexpensive.

Sad but very thankful for God's watching eye ...

This has been a very tramatic and difficult week for alot of incredible people. Some of our neighbors that live a few doors down the street from us, and also who happen to be really good friends of ours, had their house burn down this last week. It was last Thursday night, at about 8:45 p.m. when we all saw the smoke, and then watched in horror as the whole house went up in flames so quickly. The firefighters worked all night until about 2:30 a.m. and I'm very thankful that Tiani was able to get out of the house, and that Tiffani and her 1-1/2 year old son, Samuel were out of town in St. George for a few days, and Clark wasn't home, he was on his way home from work. I'm very sad for them that they lost their little Dog, Lizzy, who will be greatly missed, she lost her life in the fire. I want Clark & Tiffani to know how much we love them and are here for them every step of the way in recovering from their loss. And little Tiani, who is one of Taylor's best friends, I want her to know that our home is her home, she's been staying over here alot and we enjoy having her and being there for her. Also it has been amazing to see our whole neighborhood come together and the members of our church rallying to help this whole last week. There's alot of good people in this world.

WE LOVE YOU GUYS!

Here's a one of the many news clips from the sad event.

Lemonade stand...

Taylor and two of her friends, Megan and Madison, had a lemonade stand today. They actually got everything together themselves, made the sign on Taylor's whiteboard, made the lemonade, set up the table and had music playing. They were successful with their stand, and had a blast! Cute little girls.

i think they got it right...

At the beginning of the season I was a big Danny Gokey fan, and I still like him alot. But the last few weeks I've really loved Kris. And I figured Adam would be in the final two. So I have to say ---- I love how tonight turned out!

Mother's Day ...

Happy Mother's Day to my Mom, my Mother-in-law, and my amazing sisters, sister-in-law's and friends who are mothers. We have the toughest job in the world being moms, but the most rewarding. I love my children more than anything in the world, they are incredible, and they bring me joy every day, so I'm honored to be their mother.

My mom is in Arizona, so I couldn't see her today, but I love her, and appreciate the mother she is to me and my sisters....

And my mother-in-law is in Minnesota, so I couldn't see her either, but I want her to know how much I love and appreciate her for being the wonderful mother she is to my husband, and to me also.

My amazing husband and children allowed me to sleep in today (which by the way I love----- sleep is the best!)...

Then they made me this.....

And they gave me this bracelet/watch ---- I LOVE IT! And I love them!

And then we spent the afternoon at my sister Lori's house, and enjoyed family all day. Then I received a call from my son, Rocky wishing me a happy Mother's Day and telling me how much he loves and appreciates me. He sent me a certificate for a massage. My kids know what I like! Today was a perfect day!

HAVE A GREAT DAY TO EVERYONE!
